The Wet Look
What are Wet Look lashes, Anyway?
Wet-look lashing is a new technique that uses volume lash extensions to simulate a classic-lash look.
A spike is a volume fan that has intentionally been made to close. Once a spike has been made, it is applied to the natural lash at a 1:1 ratio.
Wet look lashes offer the same neat, isolated appearance as classics while also allowing for more fullness as well as wrapping of the lashes, which can help retention.
The Striplash Look
The StripLash Hype
At Apple Lash Bar, we're known for our advanced styling methods and meticulous mapping, making our Striplash look by far the most requested at the lash bar.
But there is no 'one' Striplash look, you can experiment with so many different shapes and styles which is the wonderful thing about them! I'll list some of the most commonly requested below.
For a lifted affect. Shorter lengths on the inner corners which gradually get longer toward the outer. Try an L curl set for that extreme lifted affect!
Accentuate your natural shape by creating an 'open eye' look, with shorter lengths focused on the outer and inner corners and longer in the middle.
Similar to a cat eye, but with more length focused in the middle section as well as the outer corners.
Short on the inner third of the eye, gradually increasing in length toward the middle until the longest length aligns with the apex of the brow bone, followed by quickly shortening lengths to give the rounded affect of a cute squirrel tail!
