Molly McClement, Owner and Operator of Apple Lash Bar

Hi everyone, I’m Molly!

My pronouns are she/her. I’m originally from Toronto, Ontario but have lived all over Canada; from the East coast to the West! I'm an upper-year student at Queen's University and in my spare time love to do pretty much anything that involves creating with my hands.

In 2019, after spending a summer working two jobs and still needing work as a barista during the school year, I decided to take some time off and fully commit to launching a business. My goal was to provide Kingston with a service I felt there was a need for, at the highest quality possible. Thus, Apple Lash Bar was born!

I flew to Victoria, British Columbia in November 2019 to train with the wonderful Tonya Paranuik of My Mink Lashes. Come January 2020, I had rented an office space at Sanctuary Coworking Kingston and was beginning to build a clientele.

Then, of course, the pandemic hit! Thankfully, my mentor Tonya had been keeping tabs on me from Victoria and asked me to join her team at MML for their reopening! I was honoured to be considered and jumped at the opportunity.

Fast forward to 2022, it’s time for me to get back to school and therefore it’s time for Apple Lash Bar to return to Kingston! My goal is for Apple to be unlike any other salon in the city; the best choice not only because of our premium quality service and impeccable space but also because of our unparalleled warmth, acceptance and comfortability.
